Christmas Home Tour

Here is a little tour of the living room, dining room, entry way and our bedroom.  Hope you enjoy!

 '

Here is my version of the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.  I thought it turned out cute!

I found this plastic Christmas decoration at an antique mall.  It was used in a pharmacy back in the 50's for decoration!

I found this library hutch at an estate sale for $175!  I love everything about it!  It is in such beautiful condition, for now, I am not changing a thing.

I hung my Man's and my childhood stockings in the entryway.

My very first nativity scene!  We got this the first year we were married.

Here is a sneak peek at our bedroom.  There are plenty of changes coming it's way.  I would like to paint some furniture and recover that burgundy bench.

I just love adding touches here and there to the house.  So far, I enjoy every minute of it.  My mother says, that will all change one day, and you won't even want to put the tree up.  I can't imagine!

I will be linking up here

  1. I love all of this! The red transfer ware mixed with your vintage items and red and green everywhere. That Merry Christmas sign is to die for...what a great find! And of course I love it layered in front of the mirror.

  3. It all looks great. Love your silver trays hanging on the wall. You have some great antiques it looks like. Your mom is right. You do kind of want to do less and dread pulling it all out the older you get. I ended up doing more than I was going to. Eventually I am sure I will do less.

  4. It all looks great. I think you and I have identical buffets. Mine was my granny's and I was thrilled to get it. The decorations are beautiful.

  6. Your home looks so beautiful for the holidays...something to be said for having a touch of the past amongst the decor. Nostalgic and sweet...I have the same vintage santa (waving in the hutch). It belonged to a great aunt. I love mine...

  8. I like your silver platters displayed above the piano- a nice change from the usual plates! You did a nice job in your hutch layering the white dishes with the red transferware. I think the white dinnerware is the same pattern I have in my hutch post today. :-)

  14. You have so many pretty pieces! The hutch is fabulous and as much as I love painting a hutch, I think yours needs to stay as is. It's wonderful. The Merry Christmas sign in front of the mirror is a jewel, too. I can't believe it's plastic! You have a tiny carriage/coach picture on your hutch, too, that you didn't say anything about. It's lovely!!! Placing it in front of the platter really is decorating genius.
