It's a Family Affair

Kailey wanted to rip this carpet up so badly! She thought is was so much fun.  My man, on the other hand, knew differently!

He let her have at it!

Then, he got busy ripping up the nails and boy was that messy work.  Pretty dusty stuff!  There is a layer of dust on everything!  Yuck!

Here it is clean and ready for tile!  Yea!!!

  1. Oh how wonderful the new tile will be. I had carpet in the bathroom once, not a really good idea. Hugs, Marty

  3. Hey Erin! I'm not always good at commenting, but I read every one of your posts, and LOVE your taste and projects! :) Very inspiring! In fact, your blog kind of motivated me to write a post on my blog about a little house project I just finished. http://julialovespink.blogspot.com/
Keep the posts coming! Happy New Year! :)

  7. Very fun. Like you, we will be redesigning our house during 2011, but we have so many projects since we are new to this homestead. I love the black shelf in the background. Very elegant. I need to learn how to mix modern with country design -- a shelf like yours might be a perfect accessory.
